The invoice is never
the whole story.
Video production costs aren't just what you pay the agency. They're the hours your engineering team spends explaining technical concepts to editors who don't understand your product. The launch dates that slip because "we need one more round of feedback" is a symptom, not a scheduling problem. The invoice reflects the agency's time. It doesn't reflect yours.
Predictable investment. Predictable results.
What does your current production process actually cost? Not the invoice, the total cost. Every revision round pulls an engineer off their work. Every briefing call is billable time you're not billing for.
A senior technical video editor costs €60,000+ in salary before overhead. One engineer's time reviewing inaccurate content costs €100–150 per hour. Lumaris Foundation starts at €6,000/month and eliminates both costs simultaneously.
// No briefing calls.
// No revision rounds on accuracy.
// Your engineers don't touch the production process.
// The invoice is the entire cost.
We don't ask for a retainer before you've seen the work.
Before any monthly commitment, we produce real videos from your existing footage, in three (or more) distinct styles so you pick direction with confidence, not faith.
Every client who has gone through calibration has moved to a retainer.
- 01 You send us 3-4 clips
Recordings, demos, conference talks, screen captures or any other video content you already have. No new shoots required.
- 02 We produce three distinct style edits
All within your brand. Three different visual directions, pacing, graphics, motion, all for you to react to.
- 03 You pick the direction
We document it into a Style Guide. Every video from that point forward is built against that standard.
Choose by output volume.
Quality is non-negotiable on all three.
All retainers include full technical infrastructure: in-house developer validation, dedicated project management dashboard, and team members who learn your product deeply.
Your engineers are reviewing every video before it ships. You want that to stop.
2–3 complete videos/month- Dev team technical validation on every draft
- Dedicated video editor
- 2 free revision rounds
- Monthly strategy call with your PM
- Project management dashboard
- Unused effort rolls over up to 2 months
You know what you need to publish. The bottleneck is production capacity and consistency.
4–6 complete videos/month- Dev team technical validation on every draft
- Dedicated team (editor + motion designer)
- 3 free revision rounds
- Strategy calls with your PM on demand
- Direct communication with your editor, no account manager in the middle
- Unused effort rolls over up to 3 months
You're running a launch, a creator campaign, or multiple content tracks simultaneously. You need output that doesn't displace itself.
Custom video count/month- Dev team technical validation on every draft
- Full creative team
- Free revision rounds until the output meets your standards
- Strategy calls with your PM on demand
- Dedicated project manager
- 24–48 hour rush delivery available on request
- Unused effort rolls over up to 6 months
We'll recommend the right tier for you on the call. Most clients start with Foundation, move to Growth after 60 days when they see what consistent output compounds to. Enterprise is for launch windows and high-volume periods, not the default recommendation for anyone.
Monthly retainers. No commitment until you're ready for one. Cancel with 30 days notice.
Unused credits carry forward for up to 6 months. Slow months don't mean wasted budget.
We cap the roster to protect delivery quality. Every client gets a dedicated team, not a shared queue.
Not sure which tier is right? The call is what qualifies you for the right one.

Can I do a one-off project instead of a retainer?
We don't do one-off projects with new clients. Here's why: the first project is always the most expensive production-wise, we're learning your product, your editorial preferences, your brand voice. One-off pricing doesn't give us or you the ability to build on that investment.
What we offer instead: the Calibration Month. No 6-month contract. You see the quality on real deliverables before you commit to anything. That's the risk reversal, not a discount.
Our editors already understand developer tools, DevOps, and technical products - because we come from that world. Plus, we have an in-house dev team that validates every technical visualization before you see it. This validation infrastructure doesn't exist in the standard agency model, because most agencies never needed it. We built it because our clients' audiences are developers who will publicly call out what's wrong.
The result: you save 10-20 hours per project because you're not explaining what JWT tokens are or how CI/CD pipelines work. Your first drafts need minor tweaks, not major surgery.
Before the trial period officially starts, we produce a calibration edit using your existing assets, so you see the quality on your specific product before any invoice is generated.
Payment terms: Monthly invoicing, Net 30.
We track your credit balance in real time and flag you proactively if you're approaching your limit, before you exceed it, not after.
Our trial period exists specifically so you can test our work with minimal risk.
Timelines start when we receive final assets and an approved brief. We commit to the delivery date we give you, if something changes on our end, we tell you immediately and find a solution. You will not be chasing us for updates.
You've seen what it costs. You've seen what it costs not to have it. The next step is finding out if your product is the right fit.
15 minutes. No pitch deck. A direct conversation about your current content process, where the technical gaps are, and whether Lumaris is the right fit for where you're taking the product. If it's not, we'll say so directly.
